Copenhagen Education Network Conference

We are pleased to announce that the next Copenhagen Education Network workshop will be organized by EduQuant and held at Department of Economics at Copenhagen University.
           
The keynote speaker will be Peter Bergman, University of Texas. Peter Bergman is an associate professor in economics at the University of Texas at Austin, Co-Editor for the Journal of Public Economics, and Co-Chair of the Education Technology Initiative at Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL) at MIT. He studies how information problems affect human capital decision making. Much of his research combines technology and information interventions to improve outcomes for low-income families at scale. He has conducted large-scale experiments aimed at improving parent engagement, helping families find and move to areas with better schools, improving access to financial aid, using predictive analytics to track students in higher education, and assessing discrimination in systems of school choice. Peter Bergman has published his work in journal such as: Journal of Political Economy, Journal of Labor Economics, Journal of Human Resources and Economics of Education Review.
