Introduction Meeting at Danida Fellowship Centre
On 9 April 2019 DERG members Professor Finn Tarp and researchers Peter Fisker and Tseday Mekasha along with representatives of the Danish Institute for International Studies DIIS and Copenhagen Business School CBS attended to a introductory meeting hosted by Danida Fellowship Centre on the general conditions for grant management and project implementation. The meeting marked a importat step towards the launching of the DERG project 'Building Resilience to Climate Change in Ethiopia: Exploring Options for Action'.

About the project
This project is a collaborative research project between DERG and the Policy Studies Institute (PSI, previously Ethiopian Development Research Institute). It will compare and evaluate the drivers of resilience to climate change examining actions taken at the household and village/district level. Moreover, the project will analyse the effects of large-scale interventions, including the Productive Safety Net Programme and the Sustainable Land Management Project.
