Inclusive Growth in Mozambique - Scaling-Up Research and Capacity

This project builds on several decades of UCPH-DERG work in Mozambique. Activities from 2015 and until 30 June 2025 were implemented jointly with the Ministry of Planning and Development, the Eduardo Mondlane University, and UNU-WIDER in Maputo in a programme entitled Inclusive Growth in Mozambique – IGM phase I and II. The overall budget funded by Finland, Norway and Denmark was USD 13 million for the period 2015-21.

A phase III of the IGM programme is now continuing with some USD 10 million in funding from Sweden and Switzerland for the period from 1 July 2025 until 31 December 2028.
