Workshop on Subjective Expectations 2027

The ninth Workshop on Subjective Expectations takes place in Copenhagen on 10–11 June 2027. It is preceded by a PhD minicourse on subjective expectations on 9 June 2027.

The workshop, 10–11 June 2027
Subjective expectations play a fundamental role in macro and microeconomic models, and the literature using them has grown rapidly over the last two decades. The workshop brings together junior and senior researchers using subjective expectations in their work.

Keynote speakers are Charles F. Manski (Northwestern University) and Christopher Roth (LMU Munich).

We invite papers and extended abstracts. Priority is given to completed papers. See the Call for Papers for details here.

PhD minicourse, 9 June 2027
The minicourse gives PhD students the tools to do research with survey-elicited subjective expectations. It covers how expectations are elicited in surveys and how they are used in empirical micro and macro work. The lecturers are Esteban Aucejo, Adeline Delavande, Søren Leth-Petersen, Christopher Roth and Basit Zafar.

Applicants upload a CV and a short recommendation letter from their PhD supervisor and write a short motivation letter in the form. See the Call for the PhD Minicourse for details here.

Practical information
There is no fee for the workshop or the minicourse. Meals during the workshop are provided. Participants cover their own travel and accommodation.
