The Department of Economics at the University of Copenhagen specialises in economics, econometrics and related areas. Our courses are mathematically oriented economic theory and applications.

The Department of Economics is not a business school! If you are interested in business administration, or human resources and related areas, please consider visiting Copenhagen Business School.

We welcome international students and encourage applications from academically strong students.

Application and admission

You can either be admitted as a full degree master's student, an exchange student or a fee-paying guest student. Please read more about the different types of admission below.
