On September 28, the Danes voted 'no' to joining the Monetary Union, that is to adopting the Euro. Based on my research over the last years, I have written an essay, outlining my views on the economic consequences of this choice.
Two other papers, which focus on eonometric methodology and some of the empirical arguments which have been raised in the debate are also downloadable. The first is entitled "Macroeconomic Behaviour, European Integration and Cointegration Analysis", and gives a short lay man introduction to cointegration analysis and its use in the analysis of macroeconomic transmission mechanisms.
