Welcome to my web page.  Above is a panorama of Crater Lake in Oregon, USA I shot in 2003. Click the pic for a big file.

I am currently at the University of Copenhagen in beautiful Denmark.  My research interests are in theoretical and empirical trade/IO using worker and firm register data.  I teach international trade at the 3rd year and graduate levels. Email and teaching links are to the left, along with my CV.

Here are links to my published and working papers:

Demand Uncertainty: Exporting Delays and Exporting Failures, Journal of International Economics, 86 Mar 2012. 336-344

Import and Export Linkages Transmit Volatility Across Markets (with Georg Schaur),

Decomposing Firm Level Export Sales (with Jakob Munch),

The Desire for (Danish) Quality in High and Low Income Countries,

Does quality or cost matter more for exporting?

Here's a panorama of Yosemite Valley. I climbed to the top of Half-Dome in 2005. I would not recommend that hike to anyone.
