The Centre for Industrial Economics was established in September 1995 on the initiative of the Danish Social Science Research Council. Since 2008 the Centre has developed into an international network for research in competition and Regulation. The Centre consists of long-term members who hold regular academic appointments at Danish universities and international affiliates.
The overall mission of the Centre is to support research in industrial economics in Denmark. This support takes places through conferences, seminars, and workshops that are organized by the Centre and financial support for research activities of members of the Centre. Emphasis is put on supporting PhD students in industrial economics.
