Internet Laboratory for Experimental Economics (iLEE)

iLEE is a novel platform for research in Economics. It serves to conduct large-scale experiments over the internet.

iLEE is part of the Centre for Experimental Economics (CEE) and is hosted by the Department of Economics at the University of Copenhagen.

Funding

The Carlsberg Foundation (Carlsbergfondet) has provided generous funding for establishing the iLEE. We aim at creating new infrastructure for research in economics.

Timeline of iLEE

The project started in June 2007. The first wave of experiments has been run in May  2008 with about 3000 participants, a second wave is planned for late May and early June 2009. Participation is by invitation only. Participants are randomly selected by Statistics Denmark and sent an invitation letter with a log-in code. Participants are anonymous to us.

Wiki

We have set up a wiki to facilitate the documentation and organization of the development process.
