Experimental Economics meets Statistical Physics.

The Department of Economics (Marco Piovesan) and the Center for Models of Life (Jan O. Haerter) invite you to join an interdisciplinary workshop on experimental economics and statistical physics.

Many processes in the formation of social networks and trust are poorly understood - especially in a world increasingly connected by digital social networks. How do humans form and maintain trust in others? How do stable and reliable interactions come about? Can we design experiments that measure such processes, and can we model them by using theory and simulations?
