The Centre for Applied Microeconometrics (CAM)
The Centre for Applied Microeconometrics (CAM) is a research centre located within the Department of Economics. The Centre conducts research within the field of applied microeconometrics and particular emphasis is paid to research on the economic behaviour and welfare of households, labour market issues and the development of panel data methods.
The Director of the Centre is Martin Browning, Professor of Economics at Oxford University. The Centre is a research unit organized around a small set of 'core' members and associated members (established researchers, Post Docs and graduate students).
CAM was founded within the Department of Economics at the University of Copenhagen in Autumn 2001. Funding was provided by a grant from the Danish National Research Foundation and the Department of Economics at the University of Copenhagen. CAM supports research in all areas of applied microeconometrics and provides a forum for Danish researchers and students and researchers from outside Denmark to interact and conduct research.
